About Dairy Queen CanadaView Site

Dairy Queen Corporation, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., and Dairy Queen operators have been providing consumers with crave-satisfying treats and food since 1940. Today, the DQ system is one of the largest fan food systems in the world, with more than 6,000 restaurants in the United States, Canada and 18 other countries. A 30-year partner of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Dairy Queen has raised more than $115 million for children’s hospitals in North America.

Its signature event, Miracle Treat Day, encourages the support of many communities who work together to support their local children's hospital. On this special day, proceeds from the sale of the popular Blizzard® treats are donated to Children's Miracle Network. Dairy Queen's support doesn’t stop there. Throughout the year, locations sell the Miracle Balloon icons, host in-store events and collect coins - all with the intent to raise funds and awareness for Children's Miracle Network and its member hospitals.
